Harbor Lights Triathlon Sprint Distance Competition: |
Only forty-five minutes north of downtown Chicago, the Triathlon starts and finishes in the beautiful downtown lakefront park and features an 800-meter swim with a beach start and finish, a 21k bike and a 6.4k run that winds down scenic Sheridan Road to finish at the Post Race Party. Kids Triathlon For kids 7-10 years: |
Part of the Accenture Chicago Triathlon MultiSport Weekend and in its 17th season, the McDonald's Kids Triathlon is the largest event of its kind attracting some 800 youngsters with individual & relay team competition. The swim takes place in Lake Michigan in shallow water, parallel to the beach. The bike and run take place on closed park roadways and running paths. It is a great opportunity for kids to break into the sport. | ||||
